1) Organelles in the cells and their functions
- Review the notes from The Most Important Organelle Research Presentations
- Use the addition information to learn more about the organelles
2) How to Use a Microscope: know the parts of the microscope and the steps to use to focus a slide. Know how to make a wet mount slide
3) Single Celled vs. Multi-celled Organisms: examples, differences between the two
- Review your front side of the Single vs Multi-Celled Organisms Lab (Venn Diagram)
- Read pg. 110 - 114 in your textbook
4) How Materials Move in and Out of Cells: osmosis and diffusion
- Know the terms osmosis, diffusions, solute and solvent
- Complete previous Lesson by watching videos and answering the student note questions
5) Plant and Animal Cells: know what organelles are unique to each type of cells, be able to tell the difference based on shape
- Complete the Onion Skin Lab
- Review your notes on organelles
- Look at the pictures on pg. 109 in your textbook
6) Characteristics of Living Things: know the 6 characteristics of living things- Review notes and slide show from Lesson 1
