 Grade 8:

On Thursday, we covered the Law of Reflection on curved surfaces. We used the following presentation to draw ray diagrams for concave and convex mirrors. Take a look at pages 197-199 in the textbook for more information if you are confused about concave and convex mirrors.

Light and Optics Unit Final will be on April 5 2022.

Grade 9:

On Thursday, we did an entry slip about Ohm’s law and an online activity about Energy Transformations. The links are in the blog post titled Grade 9 links for March 10. If you complete the Ohm’s law form, you get your mark back right away which is a good study resource. The energy transformations document should also be completed by the end of the week in preparation for the Topic 2, 3.1 and 3.2 quiz on Friday, March 18 2022. 

Electrical Principles Unit Final will be on April 7 2022.
