 Grade 8:


On Monday and Tuesday, we completed the Law of Reflection lab in order to create a ray diagram and went over how to draw a ray diagram and what the law of reflection is. If you were absent, take a look at page 196 for how to draw a ray diagram. Take a look at this powerpoint we covered in class for notes on this topic:

On Wednesday, we covered regular and diffuse reflection, and completed the curved mirror lab, investigating the law of reflection on concave and convex mirrors. If you were away, take a look at this powerpoint for the notes on curved surface.

Grade 9:


On Monday, we completed this Switches and Resistors Activity. If you were absent, you can answer the last two questions based on textbook pages 300-302:

On Tuesday, we covered Resistors and Ohm’s Law. If you were absent, please read pages 304-310 in the textbook and answer questions 1-5 on page 310.


On Wednesday, we spent a work period working through questions on Ohm’s Law. If you were absent, work through Ohm’s Law questions that you can find online. When you come to class, Ms. Saadat will give you the worksheet we completed in class.
